I will explain why 4 stars instead of 5 first. This is simply that we found all the PDF's and attachments in the emails we received quite complicated and were at first unable to figure out what the total cost for supply and fitting. That said, we have been extremely happy with everything else; supply of our bathroom, the design, the quality and the fitting. Appointments were kept on time and the work was more or less completed within the agreed time frame.

We had a fully functioning bathroom but the fitters did have to come back a couple of weeks later with the finishing touches. At the end of the day we were delighted with the finished result and I would certainly recommend MBK.

Deciding to update our kitchen, we contacted MBK & received great ideas & advice from Stewart. In visits to both our place & his showroom, he was always on time & courteous & when it came to getting the design as we wanted it, , nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the units are first class & the workmanship & finish on our kitchen is excellent. We would certainly recommend & use MBK again.

I chose MBK because I wanted a small company who could offer honest design and supply advice with good quality products and fair prices. With Stewart and his team I got great service and would happily recommend them to anyone embarking on a new bathroom. Despite me taking several years from the initial contact with MBK to actually embarking on the project, Stewart was happy to spend the time over several visits for me to finally decide on the design and choice and bathroom furniture. Looking for a complete redesign of our kitchen & wanting a company that would project manage the whole thing, we contacted a number of local companies for ideas & quotes. MBK Design Studios was one of these companies & from our initial contact through to the many meetings with Stewart, we were impressed by their friendly & professional approach. Stewart was full of excellent ideas but was always happy to incorporate our suggestions & made it very clear, this was our 'dream' kitchen' & what we wanted we could have.

Following the submission of first class 3D plans & agreeing final designs & costs, we appointing MBK to carry out the work & were not disappointed. The quality of the units were first class, all the tradespeople were friendly and the quality of workmanship & finish of our kitchen excellent. MBK & Stewart had truly given us 'A Dream Kitchen',
In fact we were so pleased, we have contracted MBK to do a complete refit of our bathroom which should have started in April but due to Covid-19 has been delayed. We have no doubt however that once it is completed, we will be as happy with this as we were with our kitchen.

Used MBK for the first time in March 2018 when we wanted our en-suite updated. Stewart proved to be very knowledgeable and helpful in the design and once the pricing was agreed he arranged the installation. Excellent work undertaken with the fitters polite, timely and professional. All completed on time even allowing for the snow! Extremely pleased with the result and have recommended MBK to a family member for a bathroom refit.

MBK has undertaken several 2 kitchen refits and 3 bathrooms for me. I have found their design work is both imaginative and practical, their work has been excellent and after sales service very responsive. I've known Stewart for over 10 years and have no hesitation in recommending him. He has always been very conscientious and helpful in responding, doing his best to satisfy my requirements.

MBK have completed the design and supply of a number of kitchens and bathrooms for our business. Compared with previous suppliers they have provided clever, fit for purpose designs coupled with high quality fixtures and fittings at very reasonable prices. Not only that Stewart has overseen the projects personally and has been able to adapt the plans to meet the needs of the customer - often with very short timescales. In summary a first class business that provides a quality orientated alternative to the national suppliers of often cheap and poorly made kitchens and bathrooms..

We have used MBK Design Studio on numerous occasions for both Kitchens and Bathrooms, have recommended them to family and friends too. They have always been extremely professional in their attitude, and competitive in their pricing. Recently we have purchased our dream oven (NEFF) from them which was delivered on time, and is being fully enjoyed!.

We have used MBK Design Studio for two projects; a kitchen and a bathroom. We have been pleased with the quality of the design and the installation in both cases.

Very knowledgeable and efficient in design and supply, solved minor problem with supplier and always delivered on the date agreed and at the time stated.

We contacted MBK for a quote for 2 new bathrooms including power shower. They came, spent a lot of time measuring up, and then back at the showroom showed us all the options we could choose, suggesting which components would sit well with each other and explaining the pros and cons of the various options. We took a long time to think about it, changed our minds a few times and each time the company took it all in its stride. We are very happy with the design, delivery, and installation of the bathrooms and will be asking the company to quote for our kitchen upgrade in the near future.

We have used Stewart to design, source and install 3 kitchens in various properties since 2015 and we are very pleased with all the work that he has done for us. We are currently in the process of designing a new ensuite bathroom, and there was only one choice for us - MBK. Stewart always has useful ideas and has always found a way to make our budget stretch further than we initially thought was possible. I would highly recommend Stewart to anyone that is planning a new kitchen or bathroom - you will end up with a superb quality product with great customer service.

Warning! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Edited!, Had a phone call from the owner about this review screaming his head off at me while I am lying in a hospital bed with no care about how that effects me. All points still stand more so the horrific temper. Would consider it harassment if I would get out of this hospital bed. Second warning, he has written flat out lies in a reply to this review.

He is a very horrible person and is to happy to lie he way out of it. I hope you reading this not have the same result as me. Have had a number of companies from the local area quote for a bathroom and MBK designs was probably the worst. 1. Unhelpful during the quote not understanding that a wheelchair made the suggestions an impossibility. 2. Was one and a half hours late to quote for the bathroom, with no apologie or reason. 3. Called multiple times to ask why there wasn't a quote or an email to say when a quote would arrive after a week and a half. 4. Was called by the owner who lies through his teeth saying I gave his assistant a wrong email address.

Even though I didn't give them any email address to the assistant. Only to him when he came to quote. Procedes to argue that I am very wrong and raises his voice. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT? Didn't apologise for not contacting even after he mentioned 3 bonce back emails? He has my phone number? 5. Two and a half weeks later, Still no quote! Alarm bells! 6. No care for the customer, Terrible communication skills, Horric Temper

My 76 year old Aunty who is disabled used the "services" of this firm for a shower room to be re tiled & new shower fitted lower. 3 weeks later its still not nowhere near finished after being told it would take 1 week to finish. Communication is horrendous, workers turn up for work for maybe 1 hour & so forth. Overall I am bitterly disappointed as she won't have the shower finished before Christmas. 1 last point, she also had to order the lower shower tray herself & pay for it as she was told "this product isn't made anymore ". Yet we found it very easily on the internet. I've never given any company a negative review but this company is taking the mick.

We recently purchased a brand new kitchen for our house extension. Living in an extended family, the kitchen needed to suit all types of cooking and have plenty of space to prepare. From the moment we met with Stewart, he understood exactly what we wanted. Stewart took a great deal of time to find out exactly how we would use our kitchen, he suggested some fantastic ideas and was easy to work with. Stewart's enthusiasm for and understanding of an unconventional project was really appreciated and we now have a kitchen that meets all our expectations from aesthetic and practical viewpoint.

We personally love how we can empty the dishwasher and put the dishes away in the drawer without moving a step. Stewart was able to offer bespoke options to our kitchen breakfast area with open shelving, an area for the toaster and combining a hot tap and small sink, all hidden away with bifolding doors. The level of service and quality of product is second to none.

His professionalism, advice, experience and attention to detail are excellent. The installers arrived on the appointed start date and their craftsmanship was first rate, nothing was too much trouble. We couldn't be more thrilled with our kitchen and the overall experience and dealings with Stewart and the team at MBK. The finished kitchen is simply wonderful and I would recommend MBK to anyone wanting a dream kitchen.

March 2011. Conversion of an existing ensuite bathroom to a ensuite shower room with wall mounted vanity unit, floor tiles and shower panels. We are very satisfied and have no improvement suggestions for the instalation team. The showroom staff were able to work within a budget much to our appreciation.

Jan 2011. Renovation of an existing bathroom, providing shower and bathroom furniture My family is greatly impressed with my shower room. All the items purchased were of a very high standard. Installer very professional with attention to detail and very tidy.

July 2010. Refurbishment of existing unusuable shower room, with new fittings, natural stone floor , insulation and fully tiled Excellent staff knowledge, Excellent attention to detail by the recommended installer, could not have done better.
