I spoke to someone on the phone to confirm that Taps Empire actually had a shower in stock. Honestly, it is hard to speak to a human with most online businesses now. I was prepared to order over the phone but was requested to place the order on their website. Not the end of the world, but there we are! I placed the order, no problems, and as expected, received the shower by APC a couple of days later. Well pleased.

I contacted customer services at Taps Empire before ordering to make sure the item I needed was actually in stock, I was in luck they had one which they reserved for me till I ordered online. I ordered on Tuesday and parcel was in my hands on Thursday great service with brilliant customer service. A huge relief to me as I had been waiting for this item for over six weeks from another retailer so now work can begin!

Reasonable prices, Timely delivery, prompt response, good after care. Have received the delivery on time, checked the item and found some cosmetic damages and notified the customer service team. They acknowledged the issue with in an hour and sent the replacement in the next 2 days and collected the damaged item. Highly recommend.

I ordered a toilet seat. First one delivered was damaged. I was promised collection of faulty seat when replacement gets delivered. Then they said: "get rid of it yourself". I had compatibility issues / questions and was just fobbed off to talk to Ideal Standard directly. That took a while. When I asked for different spec replacement / refund they said: "too late, 14 days return policy". If you get the correct item undamaged, fine. If you require "customer service", not recommendable.

I ordered a sliding wet room door and it was delivered in two days. I was kept informed during the process. The heavy package was delivered undamaged and with care. I actually missed the first delivery (due to me providing a wrong phone number from I could not be contacted and was out at the time). There was no problem with rescheduling a next day delivery (I was able to reach the customer service immediately). I actually chose to pay a bit more than the price on competitors sites due to the good reputation of Taps Empire. Very happy with the experience and the fast delivery.

Since our toilet seat cracked days before Christmas. I called Taps Empire to try to get a replacement in time. I spoke to a polite young man. who helped straight away. In all fairness, he said they could try but were unable to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery. To our great surprise and delight it arrived on the 23rd! Great service. Thank you!

Received my order within a couple of days of ordering. Everything was well packed. The cloakroom tap we had ordered was too small for our basin, so had to return it. Luckily, Taps Empire was not too far, so I returned the tap in person. The staff member was very polite and genuinely helpful, acknowledging that I could get a parking ticket. Highly recommended, I will certainly consider them for any future bathroom refurbishment.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! Update 06Sep21: According to Taps Empire, they haven't had a response from their supplier. The question asked was "would you accept a sink unit back and then return to Ideal Standard who have agreed to accept and refund the item to you?" I find it hard to believe Taps Empire can't pick up the phone and arrange this with their supplier. Taps Empire refuse to provide details of their supplier so I can liaise directly with the "due to GDPR".
Absolutely despicable company who prevented me from getting a refund on one item by refusing to provide details of their supplier. Having spent thousands on items from 5 different suppliers for 3 bathrooms, Taps Empire was the only supplier who not only refused to accept a refund but prevented us from getting a refund from the manufacturer too. Also, the only one of the suppliers who used a spurious e-mail address as form of contact effectively hiding who I was dealing with.
I will never use this company again and advise anybody to avoid them at all costs as their after sales customer service is appalling. IN RESPONSE TO TIM'S COMMENTS BELOW: You told me about "getting authorisation from Ideal Standard" in your last e-mail to me. The e-mail prior to that you told me "We have spoken to our suppliers who have confirmed that if Ideal Standard are able to accept the return of the items delivered over 9 months ago, you would need to deal with them directly regarding the same". So, they've already agreed to refund me but your company, Taps Empire, are preventing that due to data protection!
It took me several e-mails to get to this point with you whereas the other suppliers just agreed a refund right away because they understood the impact that the pandemic has had on people. You just keep going on about the time it's taken for me to request a return, completely ignoring the FACT that the pandemic has meant bathrooms have just sat waiting to be installed.
I explained this in the e-mail I originally sent to all suppliers including Taps Empire. We spent over 5k on Ideal Standard bathroom items, just under 3k of that was with Taps Empire. We're asking to return a sink unit worth 250. Bearing in mind the huge profits the KBB industry have seen during the pandemic, it's appalling that you couldn't see fit to accept this one item back especially when Ideal Standard have agreed to refund it.
You can keep making excuses but it's just coming off as unreasonable greed and showing customers just what type of a company they are dealing with. It would have cost you 0 to allow me to return the item as Ideal Standard have agreed to refund you/your supplier. How much will it cost Taps Empire more in lost custom?

I ordered a toilet seat that unfortunately wasn't the correct one but I didn't notice until I'd opened the cellophane to get to the instructions. I returned the item at my own expense and now they refuse to refund my money. They suggest I collect the seat now even tho I live in Cornwall. Appalling customer service. Buyers beware and avoid at all cost.
