Bath Resurfacing

Bath Enameling is the system in which a baths, shower trays and sinks are refinished to look like brand new. With Resurfacing your tired bath and also shower can be repaired to their own original white shine in situ – in just 4-6 hours – for a small percentage of replacement price. Throughout the years, due to severe abrasive cleansers, your bath has almost certainly lost the shine it once had. In addition to that, the surface has really turned out to be porous to the stage where continuing to keep the bath tidy is quite hard if not close to impossible. Grime and detergent scum tend to be captured and lodged in the roughened finish exactly like a sponge or cloth absorbs liquid.
With Bath Re Enameling the broken and worn out bath can easily be restored to their unique original shininess in less than a day. You are actually saved from the down-time and bother of substitution.
Chip Repair
Report
Our Technician will come in and have a look at the chip or repair that needs to be done. He will then repair the damage first but filling the area and then smoothing it back out to the same contour and texture as the original surface.
Then he will go on to matching the colour of the repair. This take years of experience to get right. He will start with a basic colour and mix in other colours until he feels it is correct. Then he will put a sample on the area and dry it to see if its a good match. Once confirm he will move onto the next stage.

Dents, scuffs, scratches and holes can be made to look as good as new, like it never happened by our fully trained technicians. All our technicians are trained in house to keep the quality of all our repairs to a high standard. If the damaged happens during installations or on a construction site we can repair it. Our repairs are more cost effective then replacement.

We had our bath re-enamelled February 2018, it has already; what looks like a mark that has gone right back down to the bright blue what was originally underneath the new enamelling, which should be a lot of layers down you would have thought, but clearly not as the mark is on the side of the bath where nothing, especially heavy, could have possibly dropped on that bit of the bath to damage it that far underneath the enamel, so it must be down to the job not being very well done for a mark to be made of that extent already.
Also that bit of the bath is never touched or in contact with water to get weakened. This was my fear, I didn’t want to pay out alot of money for my bath to only last 6 months, and I made sure I was cleaning it with only a micro fibre cloth. I was even being careful and mindful of the bath the whole time when showering and bathing because of the re-enamelling, which is know way to relax I know!
We asked Niko for a repair which we and our family generally thought would not be a problem at all, as know one wants to pay a lot of money out for a re-enamelling of a bath to get ruined only 6 months later, and as it’s not even been a year, we again thought it must be covered by warranty anyway, so no worries, but much to our shock, Niko won’t repair our bath and advised we must have damaged it and if we want it fixed it will cost over £100.

Really pleased with the repair Superior Bath Repair did to our shower tray, which I had managed to make a real mess of with strong cleaner. Superior were very good at explaining that, because of the major damage to the tray they could not guarantee returning it to its original standard (it was 8 years old). However, they did such an excellent job that most people will have to be studying this tray very closely to see damage. It looks good, is easy to clean now and I am happy with the result. I would recommend Superior.

Cant recommend Superior Bath Repair enough! We moved into a house with a cast iron bath that was extremely rough to touch and dirty.
