Original Bathrooms has a unique heritage, with family links to the great Victorian inventors who gave us the first wash-down closets. Below you will find a remarkable pictorial history of the family's involvement in the invention and development of the flushing toilet system as we know it today. Edward Humpherson first became a silversmith before turning to plumbing in the early 1870s. He was a fine, upright gentleman with a bushy moustache and a gold watch and chain draped proudly across his chest.

Lukas helped me design an en-suite shower, bathroom and cloakroom - all have turned out fantastically, with great designs, and helped me choose beautiful tiles and furniture. He is super helpful and answers queries swiftly, and gives advice even on the items that I was sourcing myself. Original Bathrooms delivered everything swiftly and exactly when the fitters needed it, with everything in great condition.

I want to say how pleased I was with the professional service and products I ordered from yourselves. I delt with Mark Andrew's who made the experience so much easier than I thought. The planning that he did was easy to follow as well as offering to come to the property to make sure my fitters was doing the correct way. His service and the reception attitude was amazing.

This was the first time we had a replacement bathroom designed and installed from scratch and we embarked on this with some trepidation but needn't have worried: Mark Andrews and the team guided us through the whole process and we benefited greatly from their expert advice on layout and the best high-quality products for our needs, which they sourced for us at keen prices, tailored to our budget.
It was also very helpful to be put in touch with alternative recommended installers, and the company that we went with (BJM design & build) has done a superb job, during which Mark liaised with them to deal with any queries or problems that arose, and which gave us great confidence.
