Absolutely superb. The SUICIDE! Chicken is chilli hot of legendry proportions! Fantastic. Burger and a drink for 10.95 every Tuesday. Great real ale and craft ales. Highly recommended.

Excellent selection of cask & keg beers from a range of small breweries. When something finishes, something else is ready to replace it. Branded glassware from small breweries. Friendly staff. Well kept establishment.

Fabulous place! So many great beers to choose from, lovely food and, best of all, really friendly staff who made us feel like local friends. Very highly recommended.

Decent variety of ales and the staff are always happy and helpful. Will guide you to you're best suited beer and give you a taster. My usual 1st stop off after getting off chester train station.

What a great find! Booked here as was in town for a gig at the live rooms (10% off if you show your ticket). Beer selection is incredible, it was oktoberfest, so even better. Had garlic bread to start, real mozzarella slices and proper thick balsamic drizzle. Burgers were superb, real homemade steak burgers. Bar staff friendly and knowledgeable on the various beers, wouldn't hesitate to recommend or come back

This little place is amazing. Dog friendly with a selection of ales and unusual drinks that I'd never have tried back home. The food menu is phenomenal with many different options including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian. I had the philly cheese steak burger with chips and biscoff cheesecake with a scoop of maltesers ice cream and I honestly cannot explain how gorgeous everything was.

The staff are friendly and happy to chat and have a laugh and my overall experience here has been wonderful. I will definitely be recommending the deva tap to my friends if they're considering a trip out to Chester.
