My boyfriend has just visited your shop. He arrived a few minutes before closing but was turned away by rude and unprofessional staff. We intended upon purchasing a bathroom mirror for our renovation project which is about to be featured in high end interior design editorial. He explained he only needed 5 minutes of your staff's time? Needless to say we won't be visiting again. It really does paint a picture that 20 per cent of your reviews are highly critical of your professionalism. I would appreciate an explanation?

I called in a few weeks ago to ask for advice on why my soft close toilet seat was not working. The salesman took time to consider what could be done but we were both at a loss as what to do. He promised to find out and today a very tiny piece of plastic arrived and it has done the trick. What fantastic after sales service. Thank you Aston Matthews.

We have visited Aston Matthews Islington which has a good choice of baths, WC, etc. We have been assisted by Deep who has been extremely helpful and friendly. Deep has a strong expertise, has taken the time to understand the specificities of our refurbishment project and has advised us effectively! We are very happy with the service provided by Deep. Amazing experience! Deep allowed a lot of time to advise us on the right items. He booked a couple of sessions with us where he spent over 2 hours each helping us choose the most appropriate items. He was very diligent, and extra patient. We changed the order a few times and Deep was always keen to help. I would most definitely recommend Aston Matthews, and Deep in particular. His service is what made all the difference.

Do Not Use this Company! I am presently struggling to get anyone there to help with a product paid for in full that arrived broken and was returned with their driver. Broken in transport as agreed on delivery. Now i am being asked to purchase a replacement and to pay again for redelivery for something that arrived broken! They are rude unhelpful, un co-operative and seem to think above any recourse. I will be in touch with trading standards and no doubt solicitors to recover my money

I bought fittings for my new bathroom from the Aston Matthews website and found it easy to use with useful suggestions to help me make the right choice. I was impressed by the Aston Matthews website so decided to visit the shop as it is local to me in Islington. There is a good choice of bathroom fittings so I was able to find all that I needed for my project inlcuding a modern wall hung basin, WC and walk in shower. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful especially as I had a very specific look I was trying to achieve. Thank you

I'm not going to be renovating a bathroom of mine any time soon (I have to buy a house first) but I do appreciate shops like this, if only to dream about what kind of tiles and tap installations I'll be choosing one day. The shop is a pleasure to peruse around; they have a range of very contemporary designs such as 'floating' basin units from Portofino to classic rolltop baths in a variety of colours.
I can't help thinking that the beautiful floor-standing cast iron baths require a personal maid to towel you off, like in the good old days. It may be a fun store to walk around, but if you're anything like me (that'd be thrifty yet creative), you might find the price tags a little steep. I plan to re-enamel a vintage rolltop for a fraction of the 2,000 you'd pay for a new one.

Aston Matthews is the ultimate in bathroom.stuff.fixtures, basins, baths, etc: you want it, they've got it. And it's so super cool it's amazing. Sure, I'm not in the market for a renovated bathroom, but if I was, I would definitely be here. The baths are exquisite - with free standing modern versions of the claw-footed bath, in exquisite enamel reds, pinks, and pretty much any colour you desire.
All the vanities and fixtures are just as cool - all minimal, streamlined and achingly funky. Check it out. You'll be ripping your own bath out to replace it with one of Aston Matthew's numbers quicker than you could brush your teeth.
